This is only a quick note for any of you concerned: We are safe here in Topeka. The waters were pretty high in the creek near our apartment last night. But they have receeded receded subsided today. As you probably know, we have received something in the order of 10 inches of water in the past 48 hours. For now, everything is going fine, with minimal flooding in two three church families’ homes, and only some difficulty moving around town (and outlying communities).
